Support the management, development and execution of platforms that enable digital lending and data services in line with clearly identified market and industry opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • DATA GOVERNANCE
  • Implement data governance across the group
  • Ensure compliance to workstream management, data governance, and regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain data catalogues and data assets
  • Provide data dictionary to aid understanding and usage of data
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data
  • Define data capture approach and ensure compliance across products and platforms
  • EXECUTION AND DELIVERY
  • Gathers, manages, prioritizes and ensures the product backlog is visible to all
  • Define the product backlog and create actionable user stories for the development teams
  • Defines iterations and user stories
  • Ensures each story has the correct acceptance criteria
  • Ensures close collaboration with the development team
  • Works closely with engineering and quality assurance to ensure the right customer problem is solved
  • Accept the completed user stories to make sure the work fulfils the acceptance criteria
  • Drives iteration goals and Iteration content via prioritized stories
  • Tracks progress towards the release of a product
  • OPERATIONALIZATION
  • Work with internal stakeholders and the Operations teams to setup routine and assurance processes to support Products and Platform initiatives being deployed on Production Systems
  • Work with the Data Analytics teams to identify and define success and performance metrics for new and existing products and services as well as relevant data to be captured
  • TRACKING & IMPROVEMENT SUPPORT
  • Work closely with the Solution Architecture and Management team to ensure new and existing platforms are running optimally
  • Work closely with the analytics teams to identify and fine metrics of generating platform performance data to support improvement initiatives
  • Follow progress of work deliveries and address production issues
  • Prioritizes defect or bug resolution

Requirements

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Academic Qualification(s): Good 1st Degree in Sciences & Engineering
  • Professional Qualification(s): ITIL, Prince2, PMP, Safe Agile Product Owner certifications would be an added advantage
  • Data Management certification gives an added advantage
  • Experience (Number of relevant years): Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience
